Riwaka resurgence is the ‘source’ of the Riwaka river. Out of the mountain flows this constant stream of icy cold, pure water that has been hidden underneath the Takaka hills.
Every stream has a source, a beginning. Some begin as a trickle and build to a river. Others collect in secret and then suddenly reveal themselves as a spring like the Riwaka.
When we realise that Jesus is the ‘source’ of life, there is no longer the need to seek life elsewhere or to create life from the world. There is nothing else to do other than drink the water, celebrate and introduce others to this river.
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city.
