It’s a new day. The sun rises, the darkness disappears and yesterday is left behind. Seven times a week, every week, every month & every year, each day begins again.
When a nighttime engulfs you, it is wonderful to know that God has created many new mornings to breakthrough the darkness. Although it feels like the night has no end, you know that morning is never far away.
Praise God for the many new days He gifts to us. Praise God that He keeps on giving the opportunity for new beginnings, new forgiveness, new provision & new mercies.
Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” Lamentations 3:22-24
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Matthew 6:9-13
